Introducing

FERN FEEDERS

Fern Feeders 05a

Fern Feeders are the original New Zealand silicone feeder.  They are an easy-to-use silicone teat feeder that allows you to safely introduce first foods to your baby.

Stocked through August Boutique and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, these amazing feeders truly are perfect for your child.  The teat is soft, yet easy to clean, unlike mesh feeders.

THE PRODUCT

Fern Feeders 03a
Fern Feeders encourage independent feeding with an ergonomic handle, light enough to hold, but big enough to grip.  Perfect for those little hands.

Simply pop a piece of fresh fruit (or frozen, to soothe those gums) into the food grade silicone teat, and let your little one munch till their heart’s content, without the risk of choking on large pieces. Once finished with the fruit, just pop the teat out and wash with ease.

Fern Feeders do not support micro-bacterial growth.  They can be cleaned in a steriliser, and are BPA, phthalate free, and lead free.  PLUS they are soft on baby gums!

The types of things you can put in your Fern Feeder are:

Fruit:
You can cut up pieces of fresh fruit (apple, pear, banana) or simply add smaller types (berries, grapes).  These can be fresh, or you can puree them and add to the feeder.  Perfect for sore gums or in the Summer!  For something different, try avocado!

Vegetables:
Same as the fruit – cut it up and place in the feeder.  Or puree and add to the feeder.

MY THOUGHTS

Honestly? If these were around when my kids were babies, I would have used them in a heart beat.  Easy to hold, and easy for them to access the food through the silicone teat – these really are perfect.  Not only that – they are easy to clean! If you have tried to clean a mesh feeder, you will know the struggle and how difficult it is.  These are the perfect solution!

If you struggle to think of foods to put in your Fern Feeder, as I said above, be sure to check out my First Food Ideas page on Pinterest.
