If for any reason you’re self isolating, and you have kids, here are some great activities you can do with your kids.
They don’t have to specifically be educational – because kids learn all the time no matter WHAT you’re doing.
Plus, self isolation is a stressful time for all. Don’t worry if you want to just chill out and watch TV. We are all worried about the Covid-19 bug and what it’s doing to our world; it’s ok to just relax with your children.
But if you did feel like doing some activities, here are some are from my own website, and others will take you to an external website. But they are worth it!

A New Zealand teacher has put together some free activities for home. This website is full of amazing activities and worksheets that you can purchase or download for free (depending on what it is).
A New Zealand website dedicated to providing resources to teachers for classroom use. There are over 40,000 free resources available, including online games.
Another comprehensive educational website full of activities and worksheets to download. There is a premium part of the website which does cost.
Tried and tested by myself, these activities are more crafty, and suited for younger kids. HOWEVER, there’s no reason why you can’t get your kids involved in setting the activities up, and then completing them.

This website contains printables for kids of all ages. From science themes to maths, to reading and writing. Scholastic has a huge range for us to help keep our kids educated and entertained.
