I, Maria, of Happy Mum Happy Child, got freaking invited to an exclusive sneak peak of Kmart’s new Living range.
Everyone there was a lover of Kmart, so I wasn’t the odd one out. Although I do feel like I was the most insane person there. But that’s ok, someone has to be, and I’m ok with it being me.
Essentially the room was split into different areas, showcasing the different pieces in the Living range.
And there was a table with food and drinks on it. FOOD. I was drawn instantly to that. The table itself utilised some of the great pieces from Kmart’s new range.

Some of you will already have seen some pieces in store, but there are loads more coming. Here is what the event and Kmart’s range looked like:

The range itself looks absolutely amazing, and the price point is spot on. 100% within my budget. I’m no interior designer, but even I, a simple SAHM, could make my living space look amazing, and at a decent price.
The kids stuff looks phenomenal. That bed (in the picture above) looks perfect for my girl. I understand it also comes in an aqua colour, which will be good for boys too.
One of the new parts of this range, is the outdoor section. Now slack Maria neglected to take a photo of this, however if you look through the catalogue below, you will see images from it. Seriously, I am impressed.
I hope you guys are as excited as I am about this new range. Kmart has come a long way over the years and I can’t wait to see what else it has in store for us in the future.
Please see below pictures from the catalogue I was given. Hopefully you can see the prices too – I am VERY excited to see these items in store.

Looks like you had a fab afternoon, well jel! I’m also highly annoyed there is no Kmart in New Plymouth, grrrr. Think I’ll have to plan a pre Christmas shopping trip x
Thanks! I was so chuffed to get the invite 😀 … oh and you guys are getting a Kmart!!! http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/69235363/New-Plymouth-Kmart-plan-approved-but-carparks-still-a-hurdle
We need a KMART in Gisborne!!
I wish so badly that online shopping would come to New Zealand!
Crossing my fingers for online shopping because I could very well be living 5 hours away from the closest Kmart at the end of the year (AHHHHH! I’m having withdrawals already!!!)
Loved this event so much!! It was incredibly difficult to control myself around all the food. It was all so delicious! oxoxo
As if I needed *another* excuse to visit K-mart, ha! How exciting – the new range looks absolutely fabulous, and what a cool event to have been a part of! 🙂
@frockandroll – honestly if I could live at Kmart, I would 😀
Loving those glass lolly jars.
@Keryn – they are so cute! If only I had a place for them in my house :/
Eeeepp I love bits and pieces from kmart..great post. I would have been in heaven too!
What I want to know is: what was in the goody bags???
