The wonderful folks over at The Creative Lunchbox, kindly gave me the MyBox Bento Lunch Box to review!
Price: $35.00
Rating: 7/10
My Thoughts:
The MyBox Bento Lunch Box is quite large in size – larger than the Yumbox. So it fits more food in it. It has four compartments – two snacks, one larger for the sandwich, and a smaller round compartment for dips. The MyBox does not have compartments that seal individually. The only compartment that seals is the round dipper compartment – it has an additional lid for it. My only concern with this is that your child may misplace the dipper lid. Overall it’s a great lunch box though.
It is worth noting that there is another MyBox Bento Lunch Box which contains FIVE compartments – so the sandwich compartment is split in half. This may be a better option to avoid the food moving around. Check out The Creative Lunchbox to see their options.
Durability:
Feels very durable – about the same as the YumBox
Cleaning:
Very easy to clean.
The Apple / Yoghurt Test:
NO you cannot fit either a whole apple or a yoghurt pottle.
Can my 3 year old open it? YES
Can my 5 year old open it? YES
