My kids LOVE pine cones. So I figured, why not just make an activity out of decorating them and turning them into a Christmas Tree? The pine cones can either be found on your property, or perhaps in a park. That is an activity in itself – searching for the pine cones!

Pine Cones
Fuzzy Pom Poms
Tinsel
Beads
Stickers
Paint
DIRECTIONS
I spray painted my pine cones the night before, with silver spray. And I let them sit overnight to dry. You can do this yourself, or wait until the toddler is ready and get them to paint it (by hand, not with the spray paint hehe). Then decorate it as you please.
This activity is super easy, and the pine cones are very tactile so hopefully the kids enjoy touching it too, as well as decorating it.
