DC Super Hero Girls Inspiring The Next Generation
As a Mum of both a boy AND a girl, I am all too aware of the types of dolls and action figures available out there in the market. I am also aware of what was missing from the shelves – Super Hero figurines specifically of girls.
When I realised that Mattel had a range of DC Super Hero Girls, I was beyond excited. Not just for my daughter, but for my son too. I think it’s really important that they learn both men AND women can be Super Heroes.
When playing with a male OR female figurine, a child will always benefit as they learn there is no limit to this world, and that they are only limited by their own minds – which is what I love about this DC Super Hero Girls range. So although the range is designed with girls in mind, it will benefit both of my kids.
I was sent six of the DC Super Hero Girls 12-Inch action figures (RRP $22.99) to check out by Warner Bros. Consumer Products Australia and New Zealand, and ultimately give-away to you guys (see below).

BACKGROUND
I did a bit of research into the DC Super Hero Girls range, and discovered that it was created to help build character, confidence and empower girls to discover their true potential. I love knowing (as I said above) that both my boy AND girl will benefit from playing with these types of figurines.
The DC Super Hero Girls are both Super Heroes AND Super Villains of the DC Comics world: Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bumble Bee, Poison Ivy, Katana and many more!
Each character has her own storyline which details her abilities, powers and a bit about herself and what makes her a hero.
