I have a 3 year old and a 12 month old, and as a stay-at-home-mum haven’t needed to put them into Daycare. We haven’t even gone to playgroups!
I know a lot of people frown upon that, but my daughter hasn’t suffered because of it. She’s the most energetic, friendly, child.
So this week, when I enrolled the eldest for Kindergarten, it hit me how she was growing up. And I can see how hard it is for others to let go of their children.
I can’t wait for her to start though, even though it is bitter-sweet. She will absolutely love it there, and she needs to be prepared for school, I would never deny her that. But it is going to be so different without her!
