Well I did it. WE did it. That’s YOU. You and I did it together – we reached the elusive 10,000 likes on Facebook. And all before my blog’s first birthday (1st August!).
I am so so grateful to everyone for liking the page and continuing to interact with me and my nonsense. We are winning at this together.
Keeping parenting real. Helping others to see that parenting does, in fact, drive us all a little insane sometimes. Or all the time in my case :/
We all chose to be parents, but ultimately nothing can prepare us for it, and so we are all thrown in the deep end. Sometimes it doesn’t take us long to surface and keep our heads above the water, other times, we really struggle to keep float.
But I want you to know, that we are all in this together. Most of us, if not all of us, have probably gone through a lot of stuff which is very similar. And I believe that talking about it, openly and honestly, is the best for everyone.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of my team. For being there to answer my stupid questions, to help me solve life’s mysteries, and most importantly, make me feel a little less insane. Thank you for being open and honest about your own experiences – the more we post like this, the more people realise they aren’t alone.
And you’re 100% not alone.
