As a parent, I’m always after the best possible thing to wash my kids in. They get mucky, like all kids, and you want to make sure that when you do wash them that not only does it do a good job, but it DOESN’T wreck their bodies with nasty stuff.
I was fortunate enough to be able to try the range of Pineapple Heads and I can tell you I was not disappointed.
I got to try the following products:
Body Wash
Shampoo

MY EXPERIENCE
My husband is usually on bath duty so I got him to use the products and report back to me. He found them to be (and I can attest to this) the BEST smelling product he has ever used. I laughed when he told me this as he has never commented about any kind of product like this before …
He found the Pineapple Heads Shampoo / Conditioner really got the kids hair clean. My boy, who is 20 months, gets dread locks full of stuff in his wee curls, so I was actually impressed with how clean it came out.
The one product I used myself with the kids was the Pineapple Heads Detangler. Now I used this several times and had to perfect my technique before I got it right. My girl’s hair is fine and a bit curly, but my boys hair is a mess of curls and his is the WORST to brush.
Like I said above, it gets into this dread lock state which makes it almost impossible to brush …
The way I do it, is spray some Pineapple Heads Detangler on my hands and rub it through his hair. Then very VERY gently (using a brush) brush through his hair. I never put the brush completely through his hair the first time – I gently brush a little bit, then take the brush out, then brush a little more, then take the brush out.
Since using the Pineapple Heads Detangler and perfecting my technique, he doesn’t scream anymore when I brush it. THAT’S A WIN!
MY THOUGHTS
I, without a doubt, highly recommend getting these products. Pineapple Heads has no dumb stuff in it – no silicones, no PEGs, no petrochemicals, parabens, artificial colours, or harsh surfactants. Also, it’s not tested on animals.
I found the products to smell absolutely delicious, and work as you would expect – my kids were clean. Squeaky Clean!
The Pineapple Heads Detangler was honestly the icing on the cake for me!
