Getting Ready For Spring
That’s right – we can start dreaming now because Summer is on it’s way! FINALLY! However, until we get to Summer, we have to go through Spring. Now Spring can be an awkward time of the year … it’s still cold, but the weather is starting to get better. But it’s cold. And then it’s hot. And then it’s cold again …. four seasons in one day kind of weather.
During this time, because the weather can be unpredictable, it helps to have a good collection of clothes in your drawers to keep up with the fluctuation.
So, with that in mind I headed into The Warehouse thinking two things – “keep it warm, but remember layers”; and here’s what I came out with:
My girl sits on the warmer scale of things, so tends to get hot quickly. So layers, with a cooler feel to them, are the key for her. I love giving her plain pants with a funky top and The Warehouse isn’t short of those – so chuffed that the tee-shirts were $5 each!
My boy definitely feels the cold, so I didn’t even go near any of the shorts (and there was a great selection!). I stuck with long pants, with a few tee-shirts to mix it up. Was glad to see The Warehouse had some long pants other than Jeans – my boy is big into running and moving around and he needs to wear something which has movement and flexibility.
The thing I love the most about The Warehouse is not only is there a great range of clothes for kids – it’s affordable too. As I said above, the basic short sleeved tee-shirts were only $5 each – which means I just stocked up on them.
Thanks so much to The Warehouse for making this post possible, and providing my kids with clothes for Spring. Be sure to head in store now to snap up some deals.
