Growing up in the 80’s / 90’s, Sesame Street was an integral part of my upbringing. I know that sounds weird, but as an adult a lot of us have fond memories of the things we watched on TV as a kid.
Sesame Street was one of them.
Imagine my delight when I was surfing the LEGO Ideas website and I found they’ve approved the production of a Sesame Street LEGO Set.
Just so you’re aware, a while ago LEGO created a LEGO Ideas submission website. Where users could create and submit their own designs. These designs would get voted on by users and if popular enough they would get considered by LEGO to make.
This is how the Friends Central Perk set came to exist.
Well now it’s official – there’s going to be a Sesame Street LEGO set. Here’s some of the user’s design ideas
(Please be aware these are user submitted ideas and that the final design will likely be different as LEGO have final say over the official set)
Again, just to reiterate, these are user submitted ideas and that the final design will likely be different as LEGO have final say over the official set.
If you missed it, they’re also making a Winnie The Pooh set!
